The innovative MVE Variō™ Series is an alternative to ULT mechanical freezers, keeping you firmly in control. That’s because both the MVE 1500 and 1800 Variō™ series models offer user-defined temperatures anywhere between -20°C and -150°C. Furthermore, the available conversion kit allows you to operate the Variō™ as a high-efficiency -190°C freezer.
Be ultra-confident in your samples
The MVE Variō™ Series offers a completely dry sample storage area which means you’ll reduce the possibility of sample contamination via contact with LN2. Furthermore, the series offers a consistent temperature profile unlike mechanical freezers, which allow heat to enter when opened. Even when the lid is opened or warm samples are introduced, there’s minimal temperature variability. This means you are constantly protecting innocent samples from transient warming events that may continue to heat after the freezer is closed.
