Our Clean Energy Lab facilitates the development and full scale testing of actual combustion and gasification systems using a full spectrum of gaseous, liquid, and solid fuels. It also enables a direct demonstration of the advantages of oxygen-enhanced combustion. Live, remote participation of testing is possible via online video and data sharing. In addition, our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling enables you to optimise furnace performance.

Our in-house Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) modelling services are designed specifically for evaluating furnace performance. CFD studies provide quick and validated results, as well as recommendations for enhancing atmosphere control systems. Our experts can work with you to help modify your current furnace operations, or develop a bespoke system based on your existing furnace. We will help you to ensure optimal productivity, cost efficiencies and compliance with new legislation.
Commissioned in 2010 at Air Products' headquarters in Allentown, Pa., our Clean Energy Laboratory is a state-of-the-art, multi-fuel, 20 MM Btu/hr combustion and gasification pilot-scale facility. The lab facilitates development and full-scale testing of actual combustion and gasification systems using your fuels, carry out tests on your furnace and show you the benefits of oxygen enriched combustion.
